Please find here below some useful instructions for easy access to Olive Green from N. Kazantzakis International Airport and the Heraklion Harbor, as well as detailed driving instructions from the eastern and western Crete.

FROM HERAKLION AIRPORT (HER) - NIKOS KAZANTZAKIS
By car:
- Coming out from the airport area, head right (west) towards the city centre where you find Ikarou Ave.
- Continue straight ahead on Ikarou Ave for about 4 km until you reach the Venetian Walls.
- When the road no longer continues straight but only left or right turn left. Turn left towards the city center and after 10 m turn right to Idomeneos St.
- You will find the Olive Green just after 150 m.

By taxi:
There are always available taxis at the airport. The charge should not exceed the 15 €.
By bus:
Just outside the airport, opposite the arrivals area, you will find the city bus stop. The bus station in the city center of Heraklion where you should get off is the Liberty Sq. ("Eleftherias" square).
From there, follow Idomeneos St. (on the left side of the stop) and after 150 m you will see the Olive Green right in front of you.
FROM HERAKLION HARBOUR
By car:
- At the traffic lights located just off the harbor, drive straight (north) on Eth. Antistasseos Ave., until you reach traffic lights again.
- Turn right on Ikarou Ave. and follow that road until the very end of it.
- At the very end, you will see the Archaeological Museum right in front of you.
- Turn left towards the city center and after 10 m turn right to Idomeneos St.
- Follow Idomeneos St. for 150 m until you see the Olive Green in front of you.

By taxi:
Plenty of taxis are available in the harbor. The charge should not exceed the amount of 9 €.
On foot:
Olive Green in very close to Eleftherias Sq. which is not more than 20 minutes’ walk from the Harbor.
- As you leave the port, turn right, taking the coastal road until the first roundabout Kountourioti Sq.).
- Just across the street (next to the Venetian Shipyards) there are stairs leading to Epimenidou St.
- Alternatively, to avoid the stairs, having stepped across the roundabout, just before the stairs, move left uphill to Doukos Bofor St.
- Turn right, walk on Epimenidou St. for 100 m until you reach Idomeneos St. on the left.
- Turn left on Idomeneos St. and walk for 200 m till you see Olive Green in front of you.

DRIVING FROM EASTERN CRETE (Agios Nikolaos, Ierapetra, Siteia)
- Drive towards Heraklion on the national road E-75.
- Approaching Heraklion take the first exit (to the airport) to the city and turn left on the traffic lights.
- Drive straight ahead for 4 km all the way across Ikarou Ave.
- At the very end the Archaeological Museum will appear right in front of you.
- Turn left towards the city center and after 10 meters turn right to Idomeneos St.
- Follow Idomeneos St. for 150 m and you will find the Olive Green in front of you.

DRIVING FROM WESTERN CRETE (Rethimnon, Chania)
- Drive towards Heraklion on the national road E-75.
- As you approach Heraklion, take the exit for the city through Thanasi Skordalou St.
- Continue on Thanasi Skordalou St. and at the traffic lights turn left in Knossou Ave.
- Continue straight ahead, over the bridge, on Dimokratias Ave. towards the center of the city.
- Keep driving on Dimokratias Ave. until you reach Eleftherias Sq.
- At the roundabout turn left towards the city center and after about 10 m turn right on Idomeneos St.
- Follow Idomeneos St. for 150 m and you will find the Olive Green in front of you.
